You and the physician make the decision in the course of a consulting discussion. In principle, our physicians recommend the following materials for an effective wrinkle treatment: Matridex Matridex contains hyaluronic acid, a natural substance which is inherent in the body, and is used for the treatment of wrinkles, lips and for the modelling of face outlines. On the one hand, Matridex fills lost volume into the skin again (filling-up effect) on the other hand, it generates afterwards a new formation of collagen-supporting fabrics (regeneration effect). Therefore, injected Matridex brings excellent results with an additional long-term effect. Teosyal Teosyal is an injectable hyaluronic acid preparation for the revitalization and hydration of the skin. With this product, fine superficial wrinkles are filled, as for example crow’s feet or small wrinkles around the mouth. Teosyal is however also used in order to treat moderate folds, like not too deep nose and labial folds, folds around the mouth region, and frown lines. Teosyal is the solution for more severe wrinkles, like deep nose and labial folds. With Teosyal "Kiss", it is particularly the lips, the lip outlines and lip volumes which are treated. Teosyal Kiss possesses a strong effective force. It lends a beautiful and natural form to the lips. Botox Botox is the short and popular name given to Botulinum Toxin A. This is a natural poison. However, physicians have isolated and transformed it into a paralysis agent so that when injected into the tiny muscles on the face, it prevents their contractions and hence, eliminates wrinkles. Botox is used in the following areas: Frown folds, forehead folds, laugh folds (crow’s feet) and folds in the area of the neck and in the décolleté area. It is proved that Botox is also effective in the use against excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis). The preparation is injected with some small stings into the palms, forehead, armpit or sole. When the effect had died down, the treatment can be repeated some months later. At the beginning of every wrinkle treatment, there is a detailed investigation, consultation and clarification by the attending physician. Botox is injected with a thin needle into the selected face muscles. A light stitch is occasionally felt, comparable to a mosquito bite. During the treatment, 1-8 stings are carried out per zone, with exception of the neck region, where the amount of the stings can also be 20. After about 2-4 days, one can assess the first effect of the treatment. The maximal effect enters after about 14 days. After the treatment, as the effect fades away, certain muscles (in general the muscles around the eyes) can become slightly weaker. For a long-term result, the treatment should be carried out two to three times per year. A treatment lasts about 10-15 minutes. It is very important that the injections are given by an expert’s hand, because improper administration can leave you with a blank look on your face and sometimes misbalanced appearance. Hence, Botox injections need not only be administered by a skilled hand but also an experienced person who knows how much is just enough to create a glam look on your face, without interfering with your ability to portray expressions. The best places for Botox injections are the crow’s feet at the corner of the eyes, frown lines on the forehead and deep wrinkles on the neck. The result is that you look stunning in a few days’ time – the time it takes for the muscles to become fully paralyzed – and you will remain that way for about 6-8 months until the effect totally wears out. Messaging and pressing the treated area following the treatment is prohibited. With a treatment around the eye it is suggested, that the patient should not be in laying position for 3 - 4 hours, or following the treatment the active muscle movements faster the infiltration of the toxin into the muscle and reduce the possibility of side - effects. The treatment has neither low nor upper age limit, in this, individually the doctor has to consider. The reason of the Botox treatment is the improvement and not to reach a perfect result. This means non - wrinkling and not filling up the wrinkle. The Botox treatment does not help on condition of the static wrinkles, or with ageing related other non - muscle functioned alterations. On demand, for these alterations, other treatments are applied (injection wrinkle filling, IPL treatment, laser treatment) in combination with the Botox treatment.
